As an instructional designer, Ibercompas is responsible for integrating didactic, technical, and cultural components.

Through a dedicated academy, it is easy to track who has completed which e-learning module (for compliance) and who may need a refresher.

E-learning efficiency:

E-learning contributes significantly to knowledge development, often proving more effective than traditional classroom training.

A World Bank report (2023) concluded that students who learn online perform as well as, or even better than, students in traditional classrooms.

Furthermore, several comparative studies show that there are significant differences in learning performance between online and classroom learning, with e-learning often scoring higher due to flexibility and self-directed learning.

  • Flexibility increases learning efficiency: students can learn at their own pace and at times when they are most focused. This leads to better processing and retention of information (independent of time and location).
  • Self-directed learning: e-learning encourages autonomy, which research shows correlates positively with higher learning performance.
  • Accessibility of materials: online platforms provide direct access to repeatable content (videos, tests, modules), which reinforces the learning process.
  • Fewer logistical constraints: no travel time or fixed schedules makes learning more efficient and consistent.

This program involves intensive preparation over a period (e.g., two weeks) for the transition to the Netherlands and the organization. The program includes cultural instruction, practical information, language training, and specific tests/training.

Candidates experience this as a smooth transition to the Netherlands, and clients already establish a connection with their new colleague!
